TRF-Tuned Radio Frequency MW directly amplifying radio with 3pin IC TA7642 as HF amplifier and demodulator and a 2*9014 and 2*9013 AF amplifier. Sensitivity as good as a good pocket superhet, selectivity is worse. The predecessor of TA7642 was ZN414 (~1972) and MK484. The radio is powered with an 1.5V-D mono, it takes about 90mA. I have replaced the 150 ohm resistor (with an asterisk) by 270 ohm, now it takes about 40 mA. I like this Radio.
